COVID-19 RESPONSE

As the Ohio Stay At Home order considers mental health among the essential workers, Kenneth A. DeLuca, Ph.D. & Associates does intend to remain open at this time.  However, in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, many of our therapists are providing telehealth sessions temporarily.

If you have an appointment scheduled with us, our staff will be reaching out to you to discuss your telehealth options, if possible and appropriate.  For those who are continuing to come in for face-to-face sessions, we are taking every precaution to prevent the spread of the disease and maintain the safety of our patients and staff.

Please note that the current situation is changing rapidly, but we are doing all that we can to monitor the situation and adapt to meet the needs of our patients. We can be reached during normal business hours at 440-327-1800.

To minimize community spread of coronavirus/COVID-19, we ask that you not attend sessions in the office if you are exhibiting a fever and cough or shortness of breath or if you have reason to believe you were exposed to COVID-19 even if you are symptom free.

To help this effort, the clinicians in this office will waive any fees for missed appointments and late cancellations for those with symptoms (fever and cough or shortness of breath) or exposure.

Please check with your clinician and insurance about the option to utilize telephone/video sessions. In-person sessions can resume after two solid symptom free weeks.

This waiver takes effect immediately and will be temporary. Once the threat has decreased the standard policies for late cancellations and no shows will resume.
